Key Features

• With 16 PXIe Hybrid slots, it allows the system designer to mix and match the number and location of PXIe and PXI-1 hybrid compatible modules essentially at will. It contains an advanced PCIe switch fabric that operates up to Gen 2 speeds and can be configured for optimal performance with most PXIe controller.
• PXI hybrid-compatible slots and one PXI Express system timing slot that can accept either a PXI Express system timing module or PXI Express module. The PXI Express system slot offers one x16 and one x8 PCI Express Gen 3 link to two switches. Each switch provides a x8 PCI Express link to eight or nine peripheral slots.

The ADLink PXES-2301 compact 6-slot PXI Express chassis, compliant with PXI Express and cPCI Express specifications, provides one system slot with three expansion slots and five hybrid peripheral slots, supporting a wide variety of enhanced-bandwidth testing and measurement applications.

The hybrid-slot design accepts installation of CompactPCI, PXI, CompactPCI Express, and PXI Express modules in any peripheral slot for maximum flexibility. Built on a four-link PXI Express chassis with 8GB/s system bandwidth, the PXES-2301's peripheral slots are all connected with PCIe gen2 x4, with slot bandwidth up to 2GB/s. The PXES-2301 implements a smart system monitoring controller, reporting full chassis status including fan speed, system voltages, and internal temperature.

The zSeries 18-Slot Chassis is a PXI Express chassis, compliant with PXI Express and cPCI Express specifications and offering one system slot, one system timing slot, ten hybrid peripheral slots, and six PXI Express peripheral slots for a wide variety of testing and measurement applications requiring enhanced bandwidth. The zSeries 18-Slot Chassis provides a configurable PCIe switch fabric and is configurable in two-link, and four-link PXI express deployments, with 8 GB/s system bandwidth and up to 4 GB/s slot bandwidth for dedicated peripheral slots, using PCIe gen2 signaling technology.

The zSeries 18-Slot Chassis implements a smart system monitoring controller, reporting full chassis status, including fan speed, system voltages, and internal temperature.

Equipped with an industrial grade AC power supply, the zSeries 18-Slot Chassis provides 800 W under 55°C, and superior cooling capacity, from three 120 mm fans on the rear of the chassis, and two BNC connectors for 10 MHz clock input/output on the rear panel that enable synchronization with supplementary devices.

When installed in a rack, the cooling design minimizes intake of hot air from the rear side, separating airflow for modules and power supplies, while isolating source (fan) noise from modules and maintaining a steady internal temperature.
• All Hybrid Peripheral Slots Design. The zSeries 18-Slot Chassis features 10 hybrid peripheral slots, with PXI Express, cPCI Express, PXI, and CompactPCI modules compatible with every hybrid slot.
